Third-generation real estate professional.

Real estate runs in my DNA. I’m proud to be a third-generation property professional, following in the footsteps of my father and grandfather, who owned New Brighton Estate Agency in the 1960s — a cornerstone of the local market that eventually became Harcourts New Brighton. My childhood was steeped in the rhythm of the industry, with regular visits to their offices in Brighton and the City. I grew up watching deals unfold, listening to stories of homes and families, and learning what it meant to build trust through action.

I officially began my own real estate journey in the 1990s, working alongside my brother Dean Marshall at his agency, Hillary and Marshall, located on Manchester Street. It was a formative time — learning the ropes, building relationships, and discovering my own voice in the industry. That experience laid the foundation for everything that followed.

Since then, I’ve built homes from the ground up, renovated and managed residential and commercial investment properties.  I have enjoyed managing projects, managing everything from off-the-plan apartment sales to boutique developments. I understand the industry from every angle — not just as an agent, but as an investor, a manager, and a storyteller.

My approach is grounded and honest, with a focus on practical solutions and clear communication. I bring calm confidence to every transaction, helping clients feel informed, empowered, and excited about what’s next.

I’m deeply connected to Christchurch — its heritage, its architecture, and its evolving story. Whether I’m helping someone find their forever home or launching a new development, I’m driven by a love for the craft and a commitment to doing things right.
