Old listing info is appearing in Google searches

Last updated May 2026

Why does my old Estim8 listing appear in Google search results?

Even after a listing has been removed from Estim8, Google may continue to display cached versions. This is a common issue caused by how search engine indexing works — it can take weeks or months for Google’s cache to update.

Why does this happen?

Google’s bots regularly crawl the web and store cached copies. When a listing is removed or the URL changes, there is a delay before Google updates its index.

What can I do?

Unfortunately, Estim8 cannot directly control when Google removes cached pages. You can request removal directly through Google Search Console if you are the site owner.

If the Estim8 listing page itself is still live and shouldn’t be, contact us and we’ll take it down promptly.
